Jeannie, Office Manager
As a child, I recall turning down my mom’s offer for medication more often than not. Somehow, even then, I knew that my body didn’t need drugs for normal childhood sicknesses. But my family had a strong belief in the power of medicine, so as I became an adult, I began to rely more on medicine in general. I began to get sinus headaches as a teenager, and mom always had a cabinet full of medication that I could choose from. So I found myself reaching for drugs every time I got a headache. Before I met my husband, I was getting sinus headaches 3-4 times per week, and taking aspirin every time! It took me 3 months of dating him before I realized that I wasn’t taking any medication. I hadn’t had a headache in 3 months! Becoming a part of the chiropractic community has been like coming back to a long lost belief system. It is something I can believe in and stand behind with all my heart.

Christine, Massage Therapist
I am very excited to be working with the Chiropractic First family. As a child, my mother would bring me and my siblings to this very clinic to get adjustments from Dr. Meyer. I loved the atmosphere then, and it’s still the same today. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), and know the importance of keeping the body in healthy working order with regular adjustments and massage. I recently graduated from Everest Institute in February 2014, but Jeannie says it seems like I’ve been doing massage forever! It is very exciting to be able to put the things I have learned into action and begin helping others feel their best!
Christine was born and grew up in Grand Rapids. She loves being a mother and grandmother. Before changing careers and becoming a massage therapist, Christine worked at a bakery. She absolutely loves to make people feel better through massage and has had a lifelong interest in reflexology.
Mayra, Chiropractic Assistant
At age 27, I suffered a severe car accident that caused significant brain trauma, profoundly impacting my health. Years later, at 44, another accident left my scapula fractured in two places, further compromising my well-being. Due to a lack of awareness and education, I didn’t initially consider chiropractic care as a treatment option. However, since beginning treatment at Chiropractic First with Dr. Heath, my perspective has transformed. Dr. Heath’s expertise and passion for patient health have been truly life-changing. His approach to educating patients about the critical role of spinal adjustments in overall wellness has not only improved my condition but also deepened my understanding of holistic health. It’s an absolute privilege to be part of the Chiropractic First team, a place where we are deeply committed to life, health, and community. I truly believe we make a meaningful difference by empowering people to live healthier, more vibrant lives through our care and support
