At Chiropractic First, our very own Dr. James Heath is dedicated to being the Wyoming area's go-to auto accident chiropractor. Unfortunately, auto accidents happen quite frequently and can result in serious injuries, including damage to the spine that can have a severe impact on your life. If you've recently been involved in a car accident and are experiencing back pain, neck pain, or other symptoms, our chiropractic team is here to help. We believe in taking a "whole body" approach to chiropractic care and addressing the cause of your pain to help you achieve optimal health and wellness.
A car accident can result in a number of injuries, ranging from cuts and bruises to broken bones and more. One of the most common auto accident injury types we see here in our office is that of whiplash, a painful condition that occurs when the muscles and tendons around the spine become damaged. This happens when the spine itself is thrust forward violently, such as when a vehicle impacts a stationary object.
Another common injury resulting from an auto accident is that of a herniated or bulging disc. Between each vertebra in the spine is a fluid-filled disc that acts as a pillow or cushion of sorts when the spine moves and bends. When these discs are thrown out of alignment (such as during an auto accident), the results can be extremely painful.
The good news is that if you have been injured in an auto accident and are suffering from back pain, neck pain, or other similar symptoms, chiropractic treatment may be able to help. In our office, we can perform a wide range of techniques to treat your symptoms and help you find relief. These include:
